The ten day deep freeze is finally over, as well as a really long work week for me. We’ll be grilling out this weekend as temps are expected to be around 40 on Sunday (although to be perfectly honest, we grilled in subzero temps as well. This is Wisconsin, after all), and I’ll be finishing up our taxes. But that still leaves plenty of time for snagging Kindle deals! Some of the books today are ones I’ve read and really liked but haven’t reviewed on the blog yet. Nothing over $3.99 and some are FREE. Plenty of cozy mysteries on today’s list, too.

American Duchess: A Novel of Consuelo Vanderbilt $2.99 I read this book last year and really enjoyed it for the connection to Winston Churchill, who was the Duke of Marlborough’s brother. It sort of spawned my interest in reading more historical fiction.

She Come By It Natural: Dolly Parton and the Women Who Lived Her Songs $2.99 There are so many books coming out involving Dolly Parton lately. I read this book last month and just haven’t had a chance to do a review. If you love country music and Dolly, you’ll love this book.
